The boots are a more modern Midgardian style, not the Aesir leatherwork Loki usually favors. Agnarr likes to have some arch support. They're easily replaced, though, should Fjord fit them.

"I've seen a few here," Loki says, and goes to the refrigerator. "Of various types. Some are very charming and delicate. Others will as soon slit your throat as look at you. I suppose that's true of all people."

He pulls out a couple tupperware containers and starts to set up a plate. "We've got leftover pancakes and sausage, and some mandarin oranges. I hope none of that's disagreeable?" He's guessing Fjord is used to eating whatever he's given, but it's polite to ask.
