"Surely a god isn't unused to a bit of mortal admiration?" Hell Jim's had to get used to it and he's nowhere near anything so important. Anytime he's back in San Fracisco it feels like there's always a gaggle of cadets who want to shake his hand or talk to him. Maybe Loki's reaction isn't too far off, actually. Jim always feels really uncomfortable when that happens. He's really not anything special.
