Adia is partially right with her guess, but Marie is conflicted by many things at once and her mood could easily be contributed to that. But if Adia has no idea what she's facing, then it's easy to assume her behavior is based on the conversation they've had so far. Drowning in sorrow is the only thing she knows right now.
